There’s no Christmas like a Christmas in Vienna … the festive lights, the delicious punsch, the cozy markets, the lovely decoration … Christmas is a wonderful time all around the world, but Vienna is my favorite place at this time of the year. The classy buildings meet the festive cheer, it’s sublime.
I love to have a walk in beautiful Christmas Vienna, and more so I love to take my camera with me and capture some of the spirit of the season. Here are some of my favorite photos from my favorite spots around the city. You can see some of the most beautiful places like the biggest Christmas market in the city, the famous Cafe Central, and the stunning hotel Sacher that has some of the nicest, fairy-tale-like decorations. Also, the famous rain of lights at the Graben, as well as the chandeliers over the shopping street, the Christmas tree at Stephansplatz, the most instagrammable, festive ribbon next to the Opera, and the stunning lights all around town. Vienna is definitely a must-visit Christmas destination.
